Counselling

60 mins in-person or online. Counselling provides short term, goal-oriented support for current life challenges. You will receive guidance and support that is focused on coping and behavioural changes.

Some common areas one may seek counselling for include:

  • Transitions and adjustment issues
  • Acute, single incident or anticipatory grief and loss
  • Relationship issues
  • Setting healthy boundaries
  • Decision making

Therapy

60 mins in-person only. Therapy uses evidenced-based treatment modalities that reliably supports you in treating various mental health issues. Find out more in the Modalities page.

Some common areas one may seek therapy for include:

  • Diagnosed mental health conditions
  • Mood disorders such as depression and anxiety
  • Eating disorders
  • Addictions
  • Acute, chronic or complex trauma
  • Phobias

Groupwork

Group size: 3-8 participants. Groupwork aims to teach clients key concepts as well as provide practice opportunities to promote change in their daily lives. The group needs to feel sufficiently safe to work with each other and agree to provide support and accountability. Groupwork topics may include:

  • Psychoeducation
  • Emotional identification and regulation
  • Healthy cognitive coping
  • Making behavioural changes
  • Relationships
  • Safety planning
